About Rite Path Home — Kim D'Arcy's Bio

Kim D’Arcy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and educator with over 16 years of experience facilitating growth, awareness and change among individuals, groups, couples, families and institutions.

She is a dynamic, positive and grounded presence, skilled in assisting people with establishing goals, as well as creating strategies and unique methods for achieving those goals. With Rite Path Home, Kim has assembled all of her expertise and vision to create a powerful, multi-faceted resource for people who want to explore and make meaning of the most important moments and stages in their lives.

Kim earned her Masters Degree in Counseling from San Francisco State University, graduating with honors, and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. She received her ministry license and ordination through the Universal Life Church and attended life coach training courses through the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael.

Kim’s professional background includes employment as an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology, an administrator in higher education, a psychotherapist in schools, counseling centers, and group homes as well as a program director in the non-profit sector. Kim has also been a staff member at places of spiritual growth and exploration such as Spirit Rock Meditation Center and The California Institute of Integral Studies.

Kim is a member of the Marin Parents Resource Network, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and the Marin Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She currently serves on the KIND Steering Committee in the Ross Valley School District and is the PeaceMentor Training coordinator for 4th and 5th grade students in the district as well.

Kim is also a writer and poet, Feng Shui consultant, and outdoor enthusiast. She maintains a Vippasana meditation practice and considers Spirit Rock Meditation Center her spiritual home. Kim is the mother of two active boys and resides in Marin County with her husband and sons.
