Ceremony
Ceremonies are times when our life stands still to witness itself: To truly remark upon the path traveled thus far, and to get a glimpse of where we might be headed. While traditional definitions of ceremony include formality, protocol and convention, we are fortunate to live in a time when ceremonies can be infused with creativity and personal meaning, while still holding the important function of revealing a sacred transformation.
There are ceremonies that come to mind for all of us, weddings and funerals most prominently. But what about all that happens before a person reaches a time of commitment, or if? And what about all that happens after commitment and before death?
There once was a time when a majority of the calendar year was devoted to festivals, celebrations and rites of passage, with work simply filling in the gaps as necessary. While this is unrealistic in today’s society, we do not need to abandon the joys of communing with the mysteries of a powerful world so rich with beauty and wonder.
Rite Path Home invites you to reclaim your connection to the cycles of life and to your own your journey within it, by making time to acknowledge and celebrate the many important changes you face, and move through, during your life and the lives of your loved ones.
