Exploring Mid-Life

Countless people have shared their experience that these are the best years of their lives. Yet words like “Crisis” and “Empty” continue to surface when people write or talk about this time.

One common explanation is that many people come to a realization that they have spent the first half of their life living out roles and expectations, often times determined by other people: parents, lovers, employers, partners, even children.

This discovery can be a shock to the system, with aftershocks that vibrate continuously thereafter. These waves of energy however are also rich with wisdom yet to be fully absorbed, yet to have transformed.

Other times, things have reached crisis status due to external factors beyond our control and/or decisions within our control that we regret having made. These situations can be painful even heartbreaking as we struggle to make sense of how the world works.

The positive side is that at mid-life, the time is ripe for addressing and resolving unfinished business. Rite Path Home offers the opportunity to actively examine, understand, and honor your path in life thus far, as well as support you in clearing the way for establishing the path you want to walk now, the path that leads you where you want to go.

See the “Ceremony” tab and “Phenomenal 40s and 50s” if you are interested in working with Rite Path Home, individually or in a group to create a ceremony or ritual that acknowledges and/or celebrates this important life transition.
